3 minutes is 150 minutes for fitness

The CDC is a decade behind the times

The book The One-Minute Workout: Science Shows a Way to Get Fit That's Smarter, Faster, Shorter was published almost six years ago, which means that the scientific studies cited in the book took place at least seven or more years ago.

Yet, the "protector of our health," the CDC, still authoritatively affirms on cdc.gov "each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle strengthening activity" as what is needed to get and stay in good shape. It would be like recommending a candle to read by, neglecting to mention that electric lights have been available for over a decade.

Join me (above) in this fun 20-second sprint (1/6th of my quota for the week) that is needed to keep fit.
