Quitaverance (in contrast to perseverance)

Quitaverance is the choice to quit when it becomes obvious that quitting is the better option (balancing both short-term and long-term costs, benefits, risks, and possibilities). Quitaverance may often be a choice of courage. An example: the biggest choice of courage in my life was to divorce my second wife. And I am so proud of myself for making that choice. It was better for me and everyone else also, including my ex-wife.
