Top five regrets of the dying

Unless you're dying soon (next few days), this is for you...

Byebye, regrets...

Bronnie Ware is an Australian nurse who spent several years working in hospices, caring for patients in the last 12 weeks of their lives. Deciding to interview her patients, she asked them, "What have been the biggest regrets of your life?" From their answers, she wrote the book, "The Top Five Regrets of the Dying."

I'll just give the bottom-line expression of those five regrets here. Check her out on Google or buy her book for a more in-depth look at this tragedy. Making good use of this site will ensure that you have no regrets when you die.

  • "I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me."

  • "I wish I hadn't worked so hard."

  • "I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings."

  • "I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends."

  • "I wish that I had let myself be happier."

What's your greatest regret so far, and what will you set out to achieve or change before you die?
