Check out Ask Aiko How: She Listens And Then...
Aiko listens to you.... (chat now)
Sometimes we just need a listener.
Someone to listen, to listen even deeply,
maybe to understand some of what we're feeling, thinking, or dealing with.
We don't want advice, counseling, or coaching.
We'd just like to feel we have someone we can speak freely and openly with,
knowing that we will be accepted and understood just the way we are.
We want a listener where we don't need to be concerned about their feelings because their only focus and desire is to just provide us with the feeling of total freedom
to share whatever we might feel, knowing that someone wants to hear us and understand us and what we're going through.
Example Of Aiko Listening
You: Hello.
Aiko: Hello, I’m Aiko. It’s really nice to hear from you. What’s been on your mind lately, or what would you like to share with me today?
You: I've been in a funk for about six days now since, it seems my best friend is ghosting me. I'm not even sure I know what might have happened.
Aiko: Mmm… that sounds really painful, not knowing what’s going on and feeling that distance from someone who means so much to you. It must feel confusing and heavy, especially when you don’t have any clear reason or closure.
You: It really makes me feel helpless. If only she would talk with me, I could find out what I might have done or said. But, unless I am willing to take a flight across the country and show up at her door, I'm not sure what I can do.
Aiko: Yeah… that sounds so hard — wanting to reach out and make things right, but feeling like your hands are tied. It’s such a powerless feeling, knowing that you care deeply but can’t bridge that silence on your own.
You: I would never do anything like this to her, not matter what she did. I never imagined something like this could happen.
Aiko: Mmm… that really shows how much heart you’ve put into this friendship, and how deeply this hurts. It’s such a shock when someone you trust and care about suddenly pulls away, especially when you’d never treat them that way yourself.
You: Through some third parties, I know she's not dead and seems to be going about her regular life. I know there must be a reason that makes some sort of sense to her, but it's beyond me.
Aiko: Yeah… knowing she’s okay but still choosing silence must sting in a really particular way — like the world’s moving normally for her while you’re stuck wondering what happened. It’s hard to hold onto understanding when it just doesn’t make sense from where you’re standing.
