Her core message here centers on a powerful shift in perspective: "There are no bad guys here." Every inner voice, no matter how conflicted, is trying to help in its own way. The key is to assume good intentions and listen from that space. Once you’re grounded in that mindset, you're ready for deeper steps—ones Karen doesn’t cover in this talk (for good reason; TED has a time limit!).

What she does focus on—reaching that place of acceptance and curiosity toward each voice—is absolutely foundational.

From there, it becomes possible to begin aligning those voices, often through the frameworks of Now–Next Integrity and Oneself–Others Integrity.
