Élanist (cf. Pyrrhicist

An individual who adopts élanvitalism as their operative ethical framework — committing, with full acknowledgment of the ongoing and imperfect nature of that commitment, to living its principles rather than merely affirming them intellectually. The Élanist's practice is less a destination than a continuous process of noticing where inherited Pyrrhicist conditioning still operates within them, and progressively replacing it with clearer, more reality-aligned assessment. They hold themselves as the primary author of their choices without tipping into self-blame when those choices fall short — understanding misalignment as information rather than indictment. An Élanist is, at their core, someone who takes the system seriously enough to be honest about how difficult it is to actually live, and committed enough to keep refining the attempt.
