Fairyland Dialogue Technique
The Fairyland Dialogue is a creative strategy that enables two negotiating entities, whether they be human counterparts or segments within an individual (such as a Now and a Next negotiation), to unearth concealed or partially obscured aspirations and necessities for each of the negotiating parties. Not only does this encourage each party to put all their cards on the table, it also helps each party better understand their own desires and needs, not only those of their counterpart. This method creates a stronger foundation for both parties to explore and establish superior agreements than would have been otherwise possible.
