If I had to choose between movies and books, I would choose books.

Next to books, movies and TV series hold a special place in my mind and heart.

I'd like to share of few of the many that have impressed and inspired me.

Most of these I have watched several times, often introducing them to friends.

A few movies out of so many...

1. My Dinner with Andre
   This film felt like sitting in on one of the most profound conversations of my life—deep, reflective, and so human. It awakened my curiosity about how people see the world and the subtle truths about our shared human experience.

2. When Harry Met Sally
   This movie reminded me how love and friendship can intertwine in unexpected ways. It made me laugh, think, and reflect on the beauty of connections that grow over time. There were a lot of insights about the ins and outs of romantic relationships.

3. Disclosure
   This was a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of workplace dynamics, integrity, and courage. To make it a good drama, there are a lot of good guys, bad guys, and grey guys.

4. The Booth at the End
   This series captivated me with its moral dilemmas and the mysterious ways we wrestle with our desires. It is intriguing how far some of us would go to get what we truly want—and what it costs us.

5. The Gods Must Be Crazy 2 (just as good as The Gods Must Be Crazy 1)
   Hilarious and deeply human, this film reminded me of the seeming absurdities of life and how different perspectives can reveal surprising truths about connection and survival.

6. Chocolat
   This story moved me with its celebration of passion, individuality, and courage to challenge norms. It reignited my belief in the transformative power of embracing change and sharing joy. Again, have fun trying to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys.

7. (500) Days of Summer
   This film resonated with the rollercoaster of love—how it’s rarely linear, but always teaches us something important about ourselves and what we want.

8. Dhoom 3
   It thrilled me with its energy, action, and surprising emotional depth. It’s a story of determination, revenge, and the lengths we’ll go to protect our dreams and loved ones.

9. 3 Idiots and PK
   3 Idiots: This movie inspired me deeply. It’s about thinking outside the box, valuing passion over convention, and finding joy in life’s unpredictable journey. Oh, and another great with the same actor:
   PK: This film captivated me with its blend of humor, curiosity, and profound questions about belief systems and human behavior. It reminded me of the importance of questioning the status quo and approaching life with a sense of wonder and openness, much like a child discovering the world for the first time. PK’s journey of innocence, connection, and truth resonated deeply with my love for exploring life’s deeper meanings while staying playful and curious.

10. My Best Friend’s Wedding
    This reminded me how messy and beautiful love can be. It was fun, heartfelt, and a reminder that sometimes love is about letting go.

11. Under Siege
    This action-packed adventure pulled me in with its mix of bravery, resourcefulness, and surprise. It reminded me of the thrill of standing up against impossible odds (something I've leave to others to do).

12. Pleasantville
    This film challenged me to think about conformity and individuality. Its message about embracing change and color in our lives was as powerful as it was visually stunning.

13. American Beauty
    This movie shook me deeply—it’s a raw exploration of human desires, hidden beauty, and the complexity of living authentically. It left me in awe and reflection.

14. The Truman Show
    A masterpiece that made me question reality and authenticity. It struck a chord with my curiosity about freedom, control, and the courage to step into the unknown.

15. Dangerous Beauty
    This passionate historical drama inspired me with its celebration of wit, courage, and love. It reminded me of the power of owning who we are.

16. Pretty Woman
    This charming and romantic tale warmed my heart. It’s a story of transformation, vulnerability, and the magic of seeing beyond the surface to the person within.

17. Little Children
    A thought-provoking story about human flaws and desires. It made me reflect on the messiness of relationships and how we grapple with morality.

    This poignant romance left me reflecting on choices, fleeting moments of passion, and the deep ache of what could have been. This is the only movie that ever made me cry.

28. Scent of a Woman
    This stirring drama inspired me with its themes of courage, redemption, and savoring life. It reminded me of the beauty in living boldly.

29. My Big Fat Greek Wedding
    This hilarious and heartwarming celebration of love and family made me smile at the joy of embracing our quirks and heritage.

30. Harold and Maude
    This eccentric and deeply touching film reminded me of the beauty in living authentically, loving freely, and seeing life through fresh eyes.

Each of these movies resonated with different parts of me—the life coach, the dreamer, the lover, and the child at heart—leaving me inspired, entertained, and full of wonder.
