Fun and Easy Way to Fluency

So you chase that distant dream,
Through books and rules and strict routine.
You long to speak that new language,
Yet hard it seems with such anguish.

There is a way that’s light and free,
Just twenty minutes—with little fee.
In months, not years, you’ll clearly see,
Your tongue unlocked, your spirit free.

Just listen, speak, make it play,

Just twenty minutes every day.
Hear some words, repeat their way.
Speak them back with no delay,
Fun and easy and come what may.

Turn on a show their native sound,
Let streaming voices flow around.
News or drama, laughs or song,
With any language you can’t go wrong.

Catch what you can, a word, a phrase,
Imitate tones and subtle ways.
Enjoy mistakes or meanings missed,
Just shape those sounds upon your lips.

Just listen, speak, make it play,

Just twenty minutes every day.
Hear some words, repeat their way.
Speak them back with no delay,
Fun and easy and come what may.

No need to pause the living stream,
Speak back into that movie scene.
When you are done, return to hear,
Again, again, your path is clear.

Repeat one flick or change to new,
Both will surely strengthen you.
Your playful mind absorbs it all,
Builds fluency that will enthrall.

Keep it short and keep it light,
Consistency outshines long nights.
In three short months you’ll proudly say,
“I speak with ease—I found the way.”

I got it!
