Every Rendition Touches A Different Part Of Me: Can You Find A Gift In Each?

As your love shifts from results to the road itself,
you may awaken to a wondrous predicament—
life’s banquet brimming with too many splendid dishes to savor.

Holy moly and jeepers weepers,
Fear’s the thief who softly creepers.
Not the kind that makes us flee,
But fear we block—It’s called “dufee.”

It hides in stress, in guilt, in shame,
In blame, in doubt, it plays its game.
It drains our joy, our strength, our spark,
It leaves our days confused and dark.

But breathe down deep into your core,
Shout what you’re scared of—ten times more.
In silly tones, with goofy flair,
You’ll set it free—it’s not still there.

Undo dufee and find your power,
Let your energy freely flower.
Undo dufee and you will see,
You’ve got so much vitality.

Say, “Holy moly, I’m so scared—”
Of being wrong, or being snared.
Of what they’ll think, or what they’ll do,
Of failing when I can’t get through.

Shout it loud, eleven times,
With belly breaths and silly rhymes.
Each breath a step toward the light,
When fear’s embraced, it ends the fight.

Your fear unblocked becomes your fuel,
Your confidence, your golden tool.
Fear’s not your foe—it wants to flow,
Not dammed-up from your push-back “nos.”

So set alarms and take the lead,
Undo your fear each time you need.
With wacky voice and open chest,
You can greet the world at your best.

Undo dufee and find your power,
Let your energy freely flower.
Undo dufee and you will see,
You’ve got so much vitality.
