House Of Verbal Violence (2 of 3)

You learned to fear the blame you get,
And praise becomes your prized asset.
A glance, a word, can give you fame—
Or tarnish up your cherished name.

To not be wrong became your goal,
But costs your joy, and soils your soul.
You shape your truths to fit their nod,
And call that fear the will of God.

Inside your House of Good and Bad,
You beg for love that you must have.
Each silent rule, each veiled command—
Builds walls your heart can’t understand.

You go for kind, you go for wise,
As blame pursues you in disguise.
Refined defense, above the seas—
Still leaves you trapped without the keys.

Addicted to your moral game,
You work for worth and barter shame.
And words adorned in virtue’s dress,
Just hide the depth of your distress.

Inside your House of Good and Bad,
You beg for love that you must have.
Each silent rule, each veiled command—
Builds walls your heart can’t understand.

The self you show, the roles you play,
Are built to keep your guilt at bay.
And every time you go for praise,
Another day’s lost in the maze.

To prove you’re good, you must decide,
Which others now must be denied.
And so the carnage multiplies—
A war of masks, your life of lies.

Inside your House of Good and Bad,
You beg for love that you must have.
Each silent rule, each veiled command—
Builds walls your heart can’t understand.
