Life As Your Playground

Something’s broken—so you say,
Chasing better every day.
Always needing to improve,
Trapped inside a must-fix groove.

“I should do right,” “I need to heal,”
“My wrongs require a grand appeal.”
Living life like it’s a test,
Only pausing just to rest.

But what if life was just for fun,
Not a war that must be won?
What if you’re already whole,
Playful heart and perfect soul?

You brush your teeth to feel delight,
Not because it’s wrong or right.
You leave the world a brighter place—
Not for penance, just for grace.

No need to prove, no debt to pay,
No shame to flee or wrong to weigh.
From this space, you play your games—
Not to fix, nor give you fame.

Flirt for joy, or build with flair,
Paint the sky or breathe the air.
Everything’s a game to try,
No need to climb that higher high.

So what if life was just for fun,
Not a war that must be won?
What if you’re already whole,
Playful heart and perfect soul?

Let the “shoulds” be tools, not chains,
Let the guilt go down the drain.
Choose your games with eyes anew—
This world’s a playground just for you.
