Cold Snap - What to do?

Cold snap >>>

I know that many of you for this of the year would consider this almost balmy.

But for us who have gotten used to the "Spring City of China," which Jianshui is a close cousin, these temperatures are cold!

<<< What to do on a chilly day?!

When I bought another jacket on sale a few days ago at the market for 50 rmb ($7.81 USD), I never thought I would need it for Jianshui. I was buying it for possible future cold days in Kunming.

But with this jacket (long sleeves and a hood), I can comfortably have fun going to Walmart again. I think I need some more shelled, unsalted nuts. I can probably get them at Walmart.

Some interesting signs and another cute car

Below I cannot figure out the product

Finally, I ask the clerk using my mobile phone translator. E-cigarettes. These stores seem to be getting more popular.

Do most Chinese people know the meaning of these "statues" which are quite common in China?

I haven't asked. Even modern buildings in China will have a pair of such "lions" at the sides of the front door. That has something to do with either protection or good luck.

<<< An ethnic group or just a tourist group?

This group of ladies only distinguish their dress by the scarf on their heads. Often ethnic groups will dress in a more complete colorful "costume" and travel together.
