You’re told to fight, to push, to strive,
To never rest, you must survive.
But courage grows when you can see,
Just when to quit, that is the key.

Perseverance, it’s often praised,
But quitting’s power remains unraised.
To know when to stop and turn away,
A wisdom found that saves the day.

In smaller things, you quit with ease,
I think I’ll call that plumber, please.
But when the stakes are high and tall,
You fear the cost of the wrong call.

The sunk cost bias is in the past,
You can’t admit your plans surpassed.
But quitting frees you to move on,
A brighter path that greets the dawn.

You hesitate, you hold on tight,
Afraid the end won’t feel so right.
But in that space where you let go,
You’ll find a peace and start to grow.

To quit with courage, not with shame,
Is not to lose but to reclaim.
The strength to change, to chart your course,
To take control and tap your source.

Quitaverance is not to fail,
But knowing when to change the trail.
Yes, perseverance can be good,
But just sometimes it’s what you should.

When roads are wrong, it’s time to quit,
Nothing could be much more legit.
For sometimes quitting’s just the thing,
To usher in a brand new Spring.

Why don’t you quit when it makes sense?!
To honor truth, no need defense.
For in the end, you’ll see it clear,
That quitting brings a life revered.
