Re-Earning Your Known Maps

You live by maps you’ve drawn in ink,
Your thoughts and facts, they may not sync.
And some bright truths that are not so,
Are hiding cracks that do not show.

Reknow beliefs you think you know,
Turn settled stone to seeds you sow.
Re-earn that trust that guides your feet,
Let each belief again compete.

Ignorance has a place and name,
A darkened room, a distant flame.
But falsehood dressed in knowing’s tone,
Are burglars in that house you own.

Reknow beliefs you think you know,
Turn settled stone to seeds you sow.
Re-earn that trust that guides your feet,
Let each belief again compete.

Some stakes you drive through heart and creed,
Through ties to self and tribal need.
To pull them up feels loss and ache,
Identity can even quake.

Yet if you want a path sublime,
Re-test those truths you’ve held through time.
You’ll trade false comfort for what’s true,
With solid ground that sees you through.

Reknow beliefs you think you know,
Turn settled stone to seeds you sow.
Re-earn that trust that guides your feet,
Let each belief again compete.

I got it!
