Oh, little mind—your eyelids drift slow,
You’re lying down now, and your body knows so.
All little thoughts into silence they go,
Fading like fireflies, no reason to glow.

Your breath whispers “sooo,” then “fooo” as you flow,
Your arms grow heavy; your thinking feels slow.
That in-between doorway opens a bit,
Drifting more deep, then your mind says, “I quit.”
