We love when things zip and then quickly are done, 

A PayPal send or that fast workout run. 

But many other things will take their own time, 

Loving those journeys makes life most sublime.

 

Thank God some things take a much longer time!

The longer those roads, the more the great views, 

Thank God there is more that you’ve left to do!

 

You prioritize those results, you push and strain, 

You tolerate the process for future’s hoped gains. 

Taking long and longer feels like it’s too much, 

It doesn’t take long before you need a crutch.
