Day by Day: 35 Questions to Change your Life…
The following thirty-five "reminder" questions are all you need to easily re-create your life, step by step,
into a joy felt naturally in the daily living of your life.
In answering each question, give yourself a percentage score
(like 100% for all the time or 30% for only 30% of the time). Some questions could be divided into two of more questions.
If helpful, answer each of these separately (like #12). Recommendation: choose five questions a day.
Every seven days you'll go through all 35 questions
to ask and answer for yourself.
Asking and answering these questions
takes less than three minutes a day.
Spoiler alert: see question #34.
11. Am I choosing courage* to live a life true to myself, not necessarily the life others expect (or may expect) of me?
12. Am I choosing courage consistently to make requests and to say “no”?
13. Am I choosing courage to keep good boundaries with others?
14. Am I choosing courage to be more authentic and self-expressed with myself and others (while keeping my mouth shut when needed)?
15. Am I choosing courage to graciously accept when others say "no" to me or reject me?

Wednesday's Five: Stepdancing Your Life
Thirty-five questions to change how you live,
Just five questions a day is all you need give.
Score yourself one to ten, honest and true,
Three minutes a day to create a new you.
Ask and answer with ease, let the numbers reveal,
How lively you're living, what you’d like to feel.
Five questions on Wednesday, five more Thursday through,
Seven days, thirty-five — a new life flowing through.
Am I choosing courage to live my own way,
Not what others expect, but my own life of play?
I’ll give it a score, from a ten down to one,
Ten means always, one means I’ve just begun.
Am I choosing courage to ask and say “no,”
Consistently serving my life as I go?
Am I making requests that are courageously smart?
And respectfully saying "no" as a life-giving art.
Am I choosing courage to set my lines clear,
Not losing my limits when others come near?
Boundaries take courage — how often do I hold?
Good fences with others are worth more than gold.
Am I choosing courage myself more to reveal,
Vulnerable, expressive, myself unconcealed?
Knowing when to speak and when to say naught?
For holding my tongue is sometimes what I ought.
Am I choosing courage when others say “no,”
Accepting their “no” with a kind, steady flow?
Can I meet their “no” with grace and with ease?
For a "no" has no “badness,” it's light as a breeze.
Ask and answer with ease, let the numbers reveal,
How lively you're living, what you’d like to feel.
Five questions on Wednesday, five more Thursday through,
Seven days, thirty-five — a new life flowing through.
