Why did God put you

in your body and mind?

Others care for you

Picture life as a vast, bustling library. Towering shelves overflow with countless stories, each offering a different perspective and experience. Friends and family, like eager librarians, might point you towards specific volumes they found particularly enlightening. Their recommendations come from a place of care, wanting you to discover the wisdom they gleaned.

But here's the key: you're the one writing your own narrative. While their suggestions might spark curiosity, you hold the power to choose which stories resonate with you. Maybe you delve into a travelogue after a friend raves about it, or perhaps a dusty philosophy book catches your eye. Ultimately, you curate your own reading list, crafting a journey of knowledge and growth tailored entirely to your interests. So, with a grateful heart, explore the library of life, but remember, you're the author of your own unique story.

It's your job

Imagine yourself as a sculptor, carefully chiseling away at a raw block of marble. This marble represents your life, and you, the artist, hold the chisel that shapes it. Friends and family can offer suggestions, point out potential flaws, or even lend a hand with the rough edges. Their input is valuable, a reflection of their care and concern.

But the final vision, the masterpiece that emerges from the raw material, is entirely yours. You decide which details to emphasize, which imperfections to smooth away. You wield the power to say "yes" or "no" to suggestions, to request changes that better reflect your vision. The boundaries you set around your work – the amount of help you accept, the pace you choose – ultimately determine the final sculpture. It's a testament to the unique spirit housed within that block of marble, a spirit that God (or nature) entrusted you to nurture and express through your life's work.
