You will hurt the ones that you love along your way,

It's not a flaw or failure, but the price that you pay.

Will land on them sometimes like a turn of the wheel.

Reality's message, it won't be denied.

And suffering rises from the mind's own war,

The gap between what is and what we're wishing for.

Their history, resistance, and fears fills the space.

You're a factor, not the whole of it — hold that with care,

The causal web is wider than your standing there.
