Below you can see my bowl of stew, heated up from the refrigerator and ready to eat. Today I have topped it off with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (to reduce even further the glycemic load, as well as add other health benefits), some non-spicy kimchi, two water chestnuts, and some Japanese natto (the highest natural source of vitamin K2).
Delicious. Healthy. Quick and easy. Inexpensive.
P.S. The Chinese herb/vegetable that I used called "yu xing cao" is called "houttuynia" in English.
