Imp-Boy Apology For Dad’s Bad Mistake
I’m Imp-Boy a-speakin’, Dad's letting me sing,
For Dad's so so sorry, he did a bad thing.
He's been telling you people that life was a breeze,
But Bangkok has taught him he’s fed you some sleaze.
He walked under something, a bridge or a beam,
Hit it hard with his head, could this be his pipe dream?
He’s tried so many times to train beams to ascend,
When they see him a-comin so as not to offend.
Those beams shoulda risen when they saw Dwight was there,
Not just only for him, we all need their care.
How long must we train them by hitting our heads!?
My Dad's tried and he's tired, on his knees he has pled.
Don't let me get started on doors and their knobs!
Who’d design them so stupid? They’d lose their job!
You walk up, doors should open, that's just common sense!
Don’t use knobs, don’t give up, doors can’t give us offense!
So Dwight’s finally learned life’s no summer breeze.
He was so very wrong, he’s down on his knees.
He now understands why the teachers must scold,
They’re doing it right, it’s students who should fold!
Dad thought he knew better, he thought had sight,
He thought that your mind had blocked out your light.
But Bangkok knocked sense into Dwight's stubborn head,
He finally has got it — he gets what you said.
I'm Imp-Boy speaking, Dad's letting me sing,
For Dad's so so sorry, he did a bad thing.
He's been telling you people that life was a breeze,
But Bangkok has taught him he’s fed you some sleaze.
So can you forgive him!? Imp-Boy begs for his Dad,
He loves you all dearly, he was such a cad.
He finally knows now how life’s hard indeed,
Bangkok finally taught Dwight and now he can see!
