Victim's Game: Everyone Wants To Play

We point, we blame, we wear the crown,
We’re noble victims, weighted down.
But freedom calls, it's time to see,
Courage holds the only key.

Do you sigh when others whine,

Yet complain in your own mind?
Do you groan at the world's dismay,
Yet grieve when things don’t go your way?

A victim's robe is worn with pride,
The "good guy" standing, justified.
If there's a wrong, then one must pay,
We cast the roles, we set the play.

We point, we blame, we wear the crown,
We’re noble victims, weighted down.
But freedom calls, it's time to see,
Courage holds the only key.

Show me guilt, I'll show you chains,
Show me anger, silent pains.
Show me worry, show regret,
Show me blame—the victim's net.

It’s so sad, the world’s “unfair.”

Join the victims and show you care.
To rise above and break this mold,
Takes courage fierce, a heart turned bold.

A victim's robe is worn with pride,
The "good guy" standing, justified.
If there's a wrong, then one must pay,
We cast the roles, we set the play.

We point, we blame, we wear the crown,
The noble victims, weighted down.
But freedom calls, it's time to see,
Courage holds the only key.
