Some speak their truth with sharpened tone,
Demanding space, they stand alone.
They claim their right, demand their way,
And never look for what you’ll say.

But others bend to every breeze,
They show their love, they aim to please.
They give, they yield, they soothe, they stay—
Yet lose themselves along the way.

We rise together, like a team,
Where strength and softness share the seams.
To walk in power and be whole,
We need both ways to reach our goals.

A child may shout to stake their ground,
While kindness makes the world go 'round.
But both can trap us in a role,
And neither path alone makes whole.

To yield or speak—each takes some nerve,
And wisdom knows what each deserves.
Not every hill is one to fight,
Not every peace means loss of might.

We rise together, like a team,
Where strength and softness share the seams.
To walk in power and be whole,
We need both ways to reach our goals.

Ask yourself which you over use,
The other one taking a snooze?
Then choose with courage, wake it up,
Selfish and care can share that cup.

We rise together, like a team,
Where strength and softness share the seams.
To walk in power and be whole,
We need both ways to reach our goals.

I got it!
