A thousand voices have their say.
Some seek pleasure, now and fast,
While others dream of futures vast.

Our Now delights in fleeting cheer,
Our Next reminding to steer clear.
One part shouts, "Indulge, be free!"
The other warns, "But what will be?"

Ourselves, we guard with selfish might,
Yet still, we crave to share the light.
We speak, express, demand our due,
But service calls for something new.

​

For others, too, a voice is there,
Of image bright or loving care.
A graceful dance where all align
Together in divine design

No civil war within our mind,
A harmony of all combined.
So check within before you choose,
Ensure no part will be abused.
