You are a war fought deep in your soul,

Four pulling voices that fracture the whole.

Now begs for comfort; Next calls for command,

Oneself wants to matter, while Others demand.

No one wins when the rest must fall,

But peace is found in a win for all.

Spend 14:24—an end to the fight—

A house undivided can stand upright.

Now craves escape and a moment of peace,

Next counts steps that seem never to cease.

One side says rest, the other says strive,

Both just want to feel truly alive.

Oneself feels guilty and often feels weak,

While Others says you must kindness seek.

Each day they wrestle; none really lead,

And you feel hollow, no matter the speed.

Sometimes it’s quiet, but don’t be deceived,

It's not that they’re friends—just tired and grieved.

One yields to guilt, another to fear,

But none find joy while the war is near.

No one wins when the rest must fall,

But peace is found in a win for all.

Spend 14:24—an end to the fight—

A house undivided can stand upright.

But what if your Now and Next could align,

Loving the process, trusting the design?

When Oneself and Others live side by side,

With nothing to defend nor even to hide?

A life where your heart and your purpose agree,

Where caring and dreaming both live equally—

This world is yours for just minutes each day,

To pause, to reflect, easily changing your ways.

No one wins when the rest must fall,

But peace is found in a win for all.

Spend 14:24—an end to the fight—

A house undivided can stand upright.

I got it!
